Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle combined with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album called the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album from the studio. The smash single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. His second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album together with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. After the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
